I have mixed feelings about this book. I liked it but I didn't. It was a weird kind of love triangle and the plot toward the end went to easy. It almost seemed rushed. What I really didn't like was that Angelica and Cain seemed mismatched. She has no more than a high school education and he is a PhD student. That to me just doesn't mesh.

I started this novel with the preconceived notion that this was a romantic story, and it is about love, but it is so much more. I laughed, I cried, I was shocked at some of the concepts but I was totally involved. I cheered Genevieve's efforts at discovering and understanding who she was and what she wanted and needed from life. I also despaired watching her demolish her chances for happiness and comfort because of her past, her self destroying actions. I came away feeling she was my friend and wishing her well, wondering how I could have helped ease her troubles.

Ms. Gutierrez has done it once again. This book is great. I fell in love with Roger. He may have had his faults but he is amazing. The way she writes, she makes you feel the emotions of each character and you will definitely have a rollercoaster of emotions reading this book. I couldn't put it down once I started reading.

Everyone always says honesty is the best policy, but is it really? What if by being honest you lose it all? Malicious Truth centers around Ava, a character who is as beautiful as she is flawed. Her actions throughout the book will make you feel a wide range of emotions, wondering more than once why on earth she does what she does. Ms. Gutierrez does a fabulous job of reeling you in with the story and characters, allowing the reader to immerse themselves into Ava's world.

Korha Semper lives her entire life not knowing that she is the second coming, the one who is to lead the armies of Hell into battle with the great Angels of Heaven. Never once does she believe that the mark she bears on her wrist is the only marking that distinguishes her from all others who live among men. Never once does she imagine that the man who plagues her dreams is in fact her soulmate, Michael, the Prince of Heaven.
